Finish in Less Time
PACE, the Programs for Accelerated College Education, offers four majors that let you finish your degree in less time. With PACE, you may be able to finish select Bachlor of Arts and Bachelor of Business Administration majors in as few as five semesters at St. Edward’s University.
1. PACE BBA in Business and Management
Want to advance your position in your current organization? Thinking about pursuing an MBA down the road? With the PACE BBA in Business and Management, you will receive a traditional education through the study of areas like accounting, business, economics, finance and management.
2. PACE BA in Computer Systems Management
Looking to further or start your career as a network administrator or programmer? According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, computer science and database administration are expected to be among the fastest growing occupations through 2014. With the PACE BA in Computer Systems Management, you’ll take courses in computer science concepts, current programming languages, and systems analysis and design, while preparing for industry certifications.
3. PACE BA in Organizational Communication
Want to be a leader in your organization or business? With the BA in Organizational Communication, you will learn how communication, writing, technology and leadership intersect. You’ll be able to adapt and apply these new skills to your workplace.
4. PACE BA in Public Safety Management
Need to further your leadership skills? Looking to launch or advance your career in the public safety realm? With the PACE BA in Public Safety Management, you will learn about contemporary topics affecting public safety such as personnel administration, public finance, and terrorism and disaster preparedness. Additionally, since we know the schedules of public safety workers are demanding and irregular, you can complete this major online.
Most PACE classes meet once a week at night and sometimes on Saturdays for seven weeks. It’s best if you have at least 30 hours of college credits before starting a fast-track program.
